Canadian Pharmacy & Patient Services

How to order

Q. Is a prescription required?

A. Yes! We require prescriptions for any product that requires a prescription in the USA. Just like visiting your local pharmacy we require a valid prescription for your medications regardless of where your order is being fulfilled. For your valid prescription to be accepted it must be from a physician licensed to practice in your area of residence.

Q. Is there a limit on how much I can buy?

A. Yes, you may purchase only a maximum of a 3 month supply of each of your medications. Provided that you have a valid prescription for that supply of medication. If your physician writes a prescription for more than a 3 month supply then we can fill those refills as they come due.

Q. Why can't I buy Valium, Tylenol #3 or similar medications from your pharmacy?

A. We legally cannot ship any narcotic or controlled substance across the border. We also will not sell any habit forming medications.

Q. What language does my prescription need to be written in?

A. Canada Drugs is able to accept prescriptions written in any language. Technical translators trained in pharmaceutical translation then transcribe those documents at no charge into a language appropriate for review by the pharmacists and physicians that will be reviewing it.

Some of the more common languages that Canada Drugs accepts prescriptions in are:
English

Please Note: That our call centre staff many not speak these languages, however a prescription written in these and many other languages may be accepted.

Q. What country can you accept prescriptions from?

A. Canada Drugs is able to accept prescriptions written by a licensed prescriber from any country in the world. Medications only available from our partner pharmacy USDrugs.com must be written by licensed United States physician only. Narcotic and Controlled medicines cannot be shipped internationally despite physician license. As is standard policy, Canada Drugs will verify through many different means the licensure of the prescriber with local regulatory authorities in that country before filling the prescription.

Some of the more popular countries that Canada Drugs accepts prescriptions from are:
United States of America
Canada
Great Britain

CanadaDrugs.com is licensed in the province of Manitoba by the Manitoba Pharmaceutical Association. License Number 32195

Be advised that, given the international nature of the practice of International Prescription Services (IPS) pharmacy, there may be limitations in the ability of the Manitoba Pharmaceutical Association (MPhA), which is the statutory licensing authority for pharmacies and pharmacists in the Province of Manitoba, to investigate and prosecute complaints from persons who receive services or products from an IPS pharmacy.

Manitoba pharmacists are not permitted to fill US physicians' prescriptions. They can only fill prescriptions issued by a physician licensed in a province or territory of Canada. M.Ph.A takes the position that it may be contrary to professional standards for a pharmacist to fill prescriptions by a physician, licensed in a province or territory of Canada, who has not established an acceptable patient physician relationship with you.
