Description of Generic Fluticasone Nasal Spray
Fluticasone nasal spray allergy that contains the active ingredient fluticasone propionate. Fluticasone is a synthetic corticosteroid, which is a hormone that can be administered by nasal spray to decrease inflammation of the nasal passages. The nasal inflammation occurs when the nasal passages are exposed to foreign particles (allergens). Fluticasone is absorbed into the cells of the nasal passages. It works by preventing these cells from releasing the chemicals that trigger the allergic response.
