Description of Canesten Oral (Known as Diflucan in the U.S.)
Diflucan is a medication used in the treatment of fungal infections, including yeast infections of the vagina, mouth, throat and other organs. Often a single dose will treat the yeast and restore your body's balance. Diflucan has also been used to prevent yeast infections in patients who are likely to become infected because of treatment with chemotherapy or radiation therapy before a bone marrow transplant.
