Nuvaring Description

Nuvaring is a medicinal drug containing a combination of the female hormones ethinyl estradiol and etonogestrel. This mixture of female hormones prevents ovulation which is the act of the ovary releasing an egg. The mixture works by changing the lining of the uterus and the cervical mucus thereby making it much more difficult for the sperm to get to the uterus and more difficult for an egg which has been fertilized to attach itself to the uterus.
