Actos Side Effects

Other Possible Interactions or Actos Side Effects

A possible serious side effect of Actos is making your oral birth control less effective. If a patient is taking Actos and a form of oral birth control that contains the following active ingredients: ethinyl estradiol and norethidrone it is advised to use an additional form of contraception to guard against unwanted pregnancy. If Actos is taken with other drugs the effects of those medications can either increase, decrease or be altered. Check with your doctor about all possible Actos side effects and interactions before combining with any other prescriptions or over the counter medications.
